I started writing the story a few days before NaNoWriMo, but started over today, and I’m happy about the result, as it’s much better than the first version.
I’m also trying a new way to write, and it’s working excellent. What I’m doing, is writing the chapter as a blog post, here on my blog.
I plan to post each chapter when it’s done.
Writing on the blog, instead of in a document, allows me to really focus on telling the story to someone. Even if I think about it while writing in a document, it’s not the same thing.
I find that I automatically eliminate (I hope) the excessive parts before even writing them down, which I wouldn’t do as much in a document, and don’t leave certain details until later (the later tends to never come).
I also finally joined a discord server for writers, but it doesn’t seem very active, so I’m a bit disappointed.
In my dream, I got categorized with the labels [NSFW e] and [Writer]. No idea what the e stands for. The labels were written on my seat at a figure skating competition I watched.
Aside from writing, I made sure to do my barre exercise and stretch.
This is the exercise I did:
As I was tired and had just recovered from a headache, I didn’t want to do anything too long, and this was perfect.
Now, time to rest my brain. It’s been tired, and I didn’t get much sleep last night, so I’ll watch the remaining episodes of Love O2O while using my acupressure mat.
I hope you all had a good first NaNoWriMo day, too.
